seat heater 200

The driver's side seat heater in my 1990 240 is not functioning. The passenger side does work. I removed the seat, accessed the heater element and examined the thermostat coneections on the driver's seat; they are fine. I have continuity through the seat circuit. The control switch lights up. What else should I try?
