Water in Oil on 244 DL 200 1976

I recently discovered water in my oil when my car failed to run correctly and had a large amount of smoke pouring out of the rear. I had a new headgasket put on my car not more then 6 months ago, so frankly I am a little bit angry. I was wondering if it is worth the money to have the headgasket redone or should I just part my volvo out? Anyone have any suggestions as to what could be wrong other then the headgasket?

Thanks so much for any advice
