'91 240 w/ Aisin Warner AW 70 autotranny that intermittently will develope a high pitched whine especially upon deceleration at lower speeds. Tranny operates flawlessly otherwise and is annually serviced-complete fluid replacement incl. converter and filter change-using Castroil ATF Dextron III. Negligible particulates found in pan and nothing on filter screen. Suspect periodic blockage of pump intake as described in other threads but please confirm as no obstrutions found at service.
