Volvo 960 or 850 T5-R?

Hi guys and gals,

I'm looking to replace my wife's 245 w/ something that has more perks and power. I think SHE would like the 960; but, I love the 850 T5-R. She's going to leave it up to me to decide, so ...

The 850R I found has 109,000 miles for $6,300 - white w/beige interior. The 960 has 90,000 miles for $5900 - black w/ tan. They are both '97 models and the retail value (from bank) on the 850 was $10,625 and the 960 was $8125.

I would just like some feedback as to which one would probably be the easiest and less expensive to maintain. Also, which one is more reliable.
