80 amp alt to replace a 55 on a 84 245t 200

I have the 80 amp alt off a parts car [ 240gl ]
that I want to swap on my 245t in place of a dead 55 amp alt
but the main wire terminal bolts are different sized [bigger then my loops]
and the little wire was a lug on the 55
and is now a loop for a small bolt on the 80

can anyone conferm that is the way to wire an 80 on a 84 245t
two loops on the main and the lug wire now goes on the small bolt
pluss of course the ground

thanks
ray
