240 Door problems, weatherstrip, leak 200 1988

My 88' 245 passenger door makes a horendous noise at highway speed, the door panel is flush at the outside, however, there is enough room at the top of the sill on the inside to fit your thumb between the door and the sill, and I can see light coming up at the bottom of the door (Ive had snow come in here), I am getting ready to take the car to Colorado for the winter, and I need to fix the problem before I drive it from RI and park it in the snow all winter. I am going to repalce the weatherstripping. but the door seems to jiggle a little (i pinched my fingers putting them in the opening at the sill while driving. Should I adjust the latch. The issue seems to be that the door fits correctly on the outside, but not on the inside, I am tempted to throw another door on to see if it is the door or the sill, but before I do that I thought I would see if anyone had a solution.
Thanks,,
Merry Christmas
