best rotor/pad combination? 900

Need to replace front rotors on my 92 940, so might as well stick on new pads also. Not looking for high performance pads (wouldn't they wear out rotors fastest?), just want quiet, effective, minimum dust pads. So do I want to put on semi-metallic pads or ceramic? Which name brand: PBR/axxis, raybestos quiet stop, mintex, Bendix,etc? Best rotor: brembo, zimmerman, raybestos, etc? Appreciate your experience/comments.
