My '89 5 speed was slipping (in 3rd, 4th and 5th)so I let it sit for a week or so while I mentally prepared to do a clutch job, and order some parts.
Then the 122 went into a state of temporary dissability and driving the slipping clutch 245 became the better of the two bad options. So I've been driving it for, oh, about a week and a half...and guess what? The clutch hasn't even slipped, not even one time. Can anyone explain this inexpicable syndrome?
