Headlights 200 1988

On my wonderful DL, I have a problem. The bulb failure thingy comes on when my bright lights are on. Also when my headlighs are on, the bright light thingy cant decide if it wants to be on of off with the brights off. I relaced both bulbs with new ones.
Also is the way where I can have the dual headlights, ethier the rounds or squares, without any major fabricating.
