Spent the weenkend under the brick. Replaced the lower steering u joint. This went well. The trick is to leave a screw driver wedged in between the connector and them tap them out. I found a ball joint seperator to be an excellant tool for this.
Also replaced the rear trail arm bushing. No problems here. The trick is to gutt the inner sleeve out using the tool. A small socket works well for this. On the passenger side my impact wrench would not fit, exhaust is in the way. So it was done using a breaker bar. Not too bad. It is critical that the tool is aligned perfect. This was my secound TAB job. The first one was a nightmare, had to use a saw to cut the busing out. Ride is much better, does not feel like the same car. My rear end would move about inch or so before.
