What are the grommets that came with a Nissens radiator? 900

I ordered and received my new Nissens replacement radiator. I would have preferred an all metal repalcement, but the Nissens will work just fine for the price of $170 delivered. It came with a small bag with 2 grommets and a small tube shaped piece with a baffle in it. I figure the grommets to be for the
coolant sensor gauge. Is that correct?
