Odd 240 Radiator Problem?Help!

Yes, I have an aftermarket radiator on my 92 240. It has a plug where there would be a sensor on other models. That plug blew out when it was when very cold today about 0 degrees. What is the problem and what is the fix? Is a new one needed?

Please let me know!
