Special thanks go out to Steve Ringlee and his cohorts for the compilation and editing of the 700/900 FAQ. The continues to be THE resource for any 700/900 owner. Even if I discover I cannot do the job it allows me to, at least ask the right questions and determine early on whether I need to contract the job out to my local dealer(I do like the local dealer) or an independent mechanic. For Shatz, JBowers and all the other contributers to the 900/S/V90 forums, that includes the General and Punxatawny Phil, you all have been a tremendous help in taking away the fear of owning one of these, so much that I bought 2 more after my first Volvo experience.
