144, 122 rear axle width? 140-160

Sorry, I'm getting a real good deal on a real axle, but I'm not sure if it'll fit my 144.

I'm then thinking aobut transfering the axle from the 144 into my 122.

I've measured my 122 to 53-54 inches?
But I can't measure my 144 now because it's at the paint shop getting a respray.

I assume the 144s is about 1-2 inches wider then the 122, right?
