I just put in a CSF all metal radiator. The transmission connection sites were cockeyed a few degrees to the outside. I had to gently torque on the tranny lines to get the threads to take without crossthreading. The connections continue the weep, although very, very slowly but weep none the less. I gave a little extra torque (yes,a flare wrench)but it continues. Afraid I make break something.
Has any one had experience with this?
By the way...
I opted against the OEM plastic/metal design because the aftermarket that let go at the crimp only had 65K on it. The previous owner had done that one after the original let go at 135K. There was no apparent problem with the system, yet I repaced the T-stat and Cap.
