misfiring on my 91 740-non turbo 8v....

cant seem ot figure thisone out, and am trying to be financially conservative abt it. last month replaced all plugs, wires, cap, rotor...and just yesterday the fuel filter. can starts fine. runs smooth for a minute or two, and then begins to develop a misfire, almost like its running intermittantly on 3 cylinders. when you drive away, chugs and chugs, sometimes for a whole 10 miles, sometimes for only one mile. on highway drives, chug eventually goes away as speed increases. at times, when fuel injestor in thrown in the tank, chug is eliminated, but sometimes returns.

not sure if this description helps, all i know is that it's ticking me off. im told that it could be bad injectors (which have never replaced in the cars 220k mile lifetime, and am also tomd it could be a bad AMM, stemming from a bad airbox thermostat.

any ideas? this is a 91 8v. i do have a perfectly running 940 8v, and was thinking of swapping AMM's to see it thats the culprit. any ideas thoughts?

Thanks in advance,
-k
