ECE Headlight Sources? (plus questions) 200

When aiming my new headlights, I found that the beam pattern and light output is only "okay" for the quad round sealed beams. Because I want *great* aim and light, I'm thinking about buying some ECE high/low beams. What websites have you guys found ECE codes for decent (read: the lowest) prices?

Here's what I've found:
Daniel Stern--5.75" Convex/dome-lens H4 high/low beam: $59/ea
CibieLights.com--5 3/4" round E code headlamp: $140/pair
CibieUSA.com--5.75-HCR 5 3/4" E-Code Halogen Low/High Beam - Cibie H4 - $55.00 each
RallyLights.com--Two Lamps with 60/55w H4 Bulbs: $90.58/pair

It looks like RallyLights.com (Susquehanna MotorSports) has ECE lights for the cheapest amount, but from what I've read, Cibie lights have a wider (and overall better) pattern. If the Cibies are better than Hella lights, then I will buy them.

Will all of the lights I've listed fit into the quad round headlight buckets? (As far as I can tell, these lights are generic--they fit in the Volvo brackets as readily as in Alfa Romeo front ends.
Has anyone found any better deals on ECE lighting? The price generally correlates to quality with these lights, but buying a set of high/low beams will use up my Christmas money pretty quickly. I'd like to be frugal.
Can ECE headlights be installed without upgrading the wiring in my car? 90% of the wiring in my car is from the 9004 headlights, the post-'86 wiring. The remaining 10% is that last little bit of wire that runs into the connectors on the back of the quad sealed beams. (I do have a relay kit, but I'm not sure if I'll get it installed before the ECE beams would theoretically arrive.)

The reason I am planning on buying only the two high/low beams and not also two ECE high beams is because I don't use my high beams that much. Most of my nighttime driving is in suburban areas, so there is other traffic around. The sealed beam highs with which my headlights came work well enough by themselves, and I'll also be getting light from the ECE high/lows. Is there any reason this setup would be dangerous or ineffective?
