Hi everybody,
If you read my last post I had a problem with my B230f engine. So I decided to look for the parts I ordered and I ordered 6cylinder spark plugs by mistake. I ended up installing my old plugs and drove the car. It didn't have any problems except some misfiring, and my tach needle jumped couple of times on idle. So i drove my car about 30 miles last night and parked it. Today in the morning i tried to crank it and it acted up firing up but did not. After that It was cranking without any result. My tack needle was moving while i was cranking but sometimes it was going all the way up 2000rpms.. ect. (It was really cold in the morning)What is the possibility of a rebuilt dist being bad? And now it is around 4pm and kinda a warm I tried to crank my car and it fired up right away... I am really shocked.. I took it for a ride and it was running fine.. I know that I haven't solved the problem.. My next step is going to get new spark plug wires and plugs and install them.. And I have another question, Does my car have a pressure valve in the fuel lines? I know that my fuel pumps are working because i can hear them.. I am thinking to get a new fuel pressure regulator, and If my car has a fuel pressure valve in fuel lines I might ended up getting that one and install that one too.I really need some help to get my brick on road.
Thank you
Sammy
