Starter Noise and top bolt removal 200 1989

I have a noise in my starter after it turns over it maks kind of a hrrr noise. After explaining it to my volvo guy he mentioned that the rubber part of the starter needs a bit of lubrication. Anyways I'm having a tough time getting the top bolt of the starter off. After two hours of trying I'm quiting for the night. I soaked it with release all and will try again tommorrow. Any tips for getting that b_____ of a bolt off.
