Brake LIghts 200

I have a problem with the Pass. side brake lights. Changed out bulbs,switched bulb holders and cleaned the contact surfaces. I am thinking that maybe the wiring for the brake light switch, for that side of the car may have a problem. Do wires for both sides of the car go into the switch, or am i missing something else, Thanks Bob.
