One of my dreams is to upgrade my B20E with a nice performance head like I have seen on the V performance site. In reading through past postings about IPD headers I became aware of my loss of HP when I replaced my early IPD head with the current offering from IPD.
Which leads to my first question, how much efficiency from the modified performance head is lost with inefficient headers? Would I do better with HP by cleaning up the origional 4:2:1 exhaust manifold rather than using the current IPD header.
If I am going to sink big bucks in a performance head, I am guessing it would make sense to put on a better designed header to prevent from wasting the investment in the performance head.
How steetable are the $1600 heads and is megasquirt the only option to supply the fuel? Can the Stock B20E FI system be modified enough to accomadate the modified head.
Thanks Joel
