Head Gasket Replacement 200 1976

I am going to be doing a head gasket replacement on my 1976 244dl and was wondering if I should replace the pan set at the same time?

I will also be replaceing the vacuum hose and fuel filter. Any tips tricks or cautions to be aware of?

Reason for the headgasket replacement is water in oil.
