IPD keyless entry and VX cam/cam gear.... 200

I've got an '88 and '93 240 and I'm thinking about putting in the aforementioned parts. The '93 has real power locks (it has buttons for them inside) and the '88 has the kind where the doors unlock when the lock stalk on the driver's door is depressed or pulled up on. Will the keyless entry work on this, is it still "central locking"? Also, has anyone tried the VX cam? The adjustable cam gear? Any input on any of this will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
