AW70L and AW71 interchangeable? 700

Hello All,
I have a '89 745GL with Aw70l trans. I am going to install a VX camshaft and would like to increase the stall speed of my torque convertor. I see that the Aw71 torque convertor slips at 2500 rpm which is about 100rpm above what I ideally need for this cam. I can get a used Aw71 trans for little money and was wondering if It was a bolt-in for my B230f engine. Anyone know if this is possible? Thanks much.
