misfire 700

Hello everyone. I had a question for you all. I just replaced both fuel pumps today (figured i would do them both since they are the originals from 1986) and the car (740 turbo, automatic) runs much better. I have not driven the car in awhile and I forgot that it has a misfire when it is idling. I think it does it as well when I am driving. It is intermittent. I changed all plugs/ wires when I got the car about 8 months ago and I am sure I gapped correctly. Does anyone know a another likely place to check into (which will hopefully be easier than doing both fuel pumps). Thanks ahead of time.
