Transmission Mount - Bad Part? 200 1988

Okay, I recently ordered a square transmission mount from IPD that came today. It is a volvo part, stamped and stickered with the Volvo logo. I have never had to replace one until now and when I got the part, I noticed that the rubber does not go straight down in a square shape. It go diagonally down and to one side (difference of about 1/2 inch from top to bottom) Did I get a bad part? Is this the original design and nothing to worry about? Please advise!
