How do you remove sunroof trim? 900 1993

The plastic coating on the aluminum strip of my sunroof trim is flaking off. Has anyone ever removed this, is it easy/hard, doeas anyone have pointers/diagrams? i was hoping it might be a easy as I want to pull it and powder coat it.
