1991 945 se (turbo).
i was cruising along at 70mph when all of a sudden the car slowed down and wouldn't accelerate. not stalled, mind you, just suddenly when i put the pedal down to the floor i get nothing. it will accelerate fine from a stop until about 30 mph, then it will only accelerate painfully slow and only with a super-delicate touch to the gas pedal (full depression of pedal gets me nothing at all), and won't get over 55. there is no stumbling, no noise, no tranny slippage, just will not rev at all, almost like the acceleration cable is broken, but of course it is not. it will rev in neutral, but when in gear it refuses to gun after it gets to about 30. this was sudden and not something that has ever occured before. i am totally clueless as to the reason, any help would be appreciated. thanks.
