Hi again everyone,
Does anyone know the proper part # for an alternater from an 89 240dl wagen?
Also, yesterday I asked if anyone knew the part # for an air flow sensor for an 89 240 dl wagen. 2 people told me it ended in 016. I have 2 that end in 016, but one also has an extra line stamped on it that says 182 19 2 A. The insides are slightly different also. I'll try to describe it to the best of my ability. In the ring inside there is a thin piece of wire strung in a u shape in both. Then one has a straight rectangular piece of metal sticking down from the top about a half inch away from the wire, and the other has an upside down v with the ends conected in the same location. Any ideas what the difference is and which is correct for my year/model?
