Fuel Pressure Regulator - can't get it off???? 200 1986

Tried to change my FPR this weekend, but I could not loosen the nut. I didn't want to give it my all for fear of damaging the fuel rail. Any suggestions on how to get this off (I assume that it is the original from 86).
