stalls after 4 or 5 minues 200

1978 245DL 252000 original owner, started stalling yesterday when I came to a stop, could not restart. After about 20 minues checking spark and fuel car started and I drove home about 3 miles. About 2hrs later started car and let it idle 4 or 5 minutes later stalled again. I checked the timing this morning. Idle and timing ok. Car stalled could not restart. 15 minutes later restarted and fast idled about 2000 rpm stalled again few minutes later. Any suggestions?
I used this forum a few years ago but have had no problems since.
