WEIRD NOISE WHEN STARTING UP 200

HI all! 86, 240, sedan 150 k
Thanks in advance for reading this post.. k, well i get this weird clunking noise under the car, like rear passenger side, whenever i cold start, i looked to see if it was the exhaust clunking, but it didn't seem to be. It doesn't do it when the car is already warm, or running, just for a cold start.. :( Also.. i put in a new wiper motor, with a ground wire, and now the darn thing only works in high!, the old one didn't have a wire, so.. i guess its eiter the motor is bunk, or i have to ground it correctly.. ANY advice? k, hehe, one more thing, i've done some reading on the whole overdrive business, but i was wondering if theres anyway to diagnose the problem without getting a new relay or drilling out the solenoid!
