Parking brake light not activated 200 1993

The parking brake dash indicator light is functional, but is not activated when I engage the brake. Is there some connector in the parking brake assembly that's broken or become disconnected? My 245 has an auto tranny.

Is it relatively easy to get to and fix? I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to working on cars, and a real newbie when it comes to Volvos (only had it 6 months).

This isn't a huge issue except for the fact that I always engage the parking brake when I park the car, but my wife doesn't. This has led her to drive away with the brake engaged on several occasions.
