Oil temp sender size? 200 1982

Does anyone know the correct oil temperature sender size so that I can order it from the egauges? II have a 300 deg F vdo gauge. Apparently I stripped the threads on the old sender from changing the oil frequently allowing a small weep to occur that leaks huge amounts of volume at high (at speed) pressure.
