88 760 back on line, Thanks John! 700

Well, I hate to admit that I made a mistake, but when the 760 would not crank when the temp dropped, just after a complete top engine refurbish and new electronic gizmos, I really got discouraged with this project. Thanks to a post by John Sargent, I went back to the Coolant Temperature Sensor and checked it. Sure enough, the device that checked fine last week has failed. In went a new one (without pulling the intake manifold by the way, John. I removed the air bypass valve and used a 19mm deepwell 6 point socket on a long extension to reach in and unscrew the sensor then replace it with no hassle.)The car fired right up, idled fine and made a 44 mile test run over to pick up my three daughters for dinner.

Much Thanks to those who have suffered through this before. I appreciate your wisdom.

Kindest Regards,
--
Will Dallas
