Wheel bearing squeaking

'morning all,
six month ago I was pushed into a kerb which damaged my alloy wheel so it's wobbling side ways. I've since then sometimes notice a slight squeak-squeak-squeak when rolling at about 20mph.
I think it's the wheel bearing that's been damaged but a friend says bearing only humms not squeaks. What do you think before I start taking things apart?
