Cruise Control - Stuck in Turbo????

I previously posted a question about being "stuck in turbo." Reading on through other post, it caused me to wonder if the fact that my "cruise control" stopped working about a month ago and that coincided with the "stuck in turbo" problem, I am now wondering if I were to disconnect the CC would it have an effect on the "stuck in turbo" problem? Once more, your assist is greatly appreciated.
