can't get breather box off - trying not to get discouraged 200 1982

Replacing the breather box on this 82 kjet non-turbo is the toughest job I've ever done. Only because of trying to get to this thing. I have the big rubber boot off and I can sort of lift the big bundle of wires that covers the top of the breather box but the fuel distributor is so close to the breather box that there is no way to get it out without moving that. I really don't want to take off the fuel lines (afraid I won't get them back on without leaks ). I want to just move the fuel distributor over a little but was hoping not to have to remove it from the air flow sensor either (more seals to replace and things that could get out of adjustment) So I'm trying to just get the whole unit (sensor and distributor) loose from it's mount. I think it mounts at the back with two nuts. I can get the left one off but not the right because the oil disptick tube is in the way. Heater hoses are already off (what a wet surprise that was!). Are these even the right nuts for removing this thing and if so, how do I get the right one off?
Or is there a better way to get to the breather box?
I don't think I'd have tried to do this job if I knew how tough it would be but now I'm stuck with $200 worth of parts and hoses and a car that's in pieces, so I'm trying to be tenacious and see this through. Karin
