Camshaft seal replacement 200 1982

Hello everyone,
Due to an amazingly clogged PCV system (I think the breather box lost half its weight from the crud I shook out of it), I've managed to blow out my front camshaft seal on my b21 powered 82 wagon. What's the easiest way to replace it? From my research I'm guessing I may not need to remove the camshaft, but I probably need to remove it's timing gear. I'll need special tools to hold the camshaft while I remove the gear, as well as to install the new seal. Is that all correct? I'm not really clear on the process I need to follow here, so any tips, walkthroughs, or gotchas are appreciated. I've got the cover off and I'll be replacing the timing belt as well. Thanks!
