Magnesium rims and tire question 700 1992

Hi all;
New to the forums having just bought a '92 745. Couple of quick questions.

1)While hunting for a replacement rim (steel, one beat up with lots of dents) I came across a set of 5 magnesuum rims from a junkyard. Guy offered them to me for $150. I picked one up and they seem pretty light. Question: Worth it to pick them up?

2) While checking www.tirerack.com for tire options, I see they list 2 sizes as OEM. 185-65-15 and 195-60-15. Do you guys have an preferences on tire size? Any pro's or con's for the 2 options? And will either size fit the magnesium rims?
