Need to clean and flush oil system. 200 1990

Hello, I would like to know if there is anything that I put into engine(where the oil goes) and say run the car for a few minutes, so as to clean the grime build-up, from the oil, over the years. If there is such a product, what are the possible harm to the engine if the product is use? Do the oil pan need to be removed and clean afterwards?
