I went to the volvo dealership this morning.
They have a updated cable for the right side on the drivers side.
The cable sheath is 1/8" shorter than the old one.
I put that cable in and now every thing is fine.
The new volvo part # is 3541598 I hope that you will write this # down for futher reference. The price for the part was $28.62+tax
