Central Lock System Failure 900 1997

I have a 1997 960 which the central locks do not work. The fob will not lock the doors either but does activate the alarm system. I have replaced the Central Locking relay located next to the gas pedal, but still no go. One thing that may be connected to this problem is that I had the drivers door replaced out of a 1995 960 but the wiring harness is still original for the locks and windows and mirror. Cannot figure out what the problem is. Any help would be appreciated!
