Changed ECT but still surging idle 700

Hello all,

I changed my ECT and do notice a difference when startup but still not quite correct. I still need to give ut plenty of gas at startup or it will stall, then when warmer will take an idle, then at warm idle temp gauge at half it surges and fluctuates approx 500rpm seems as if it will die than surge. I check for vaccuum leaks didn;t find any. What should I try next.
