I've been trying to get my bulb failure sensor light to turn off for months now. I've made major electrical improvements in my salvaged 1987 240, including bringing the reverse indicators back to life. Here's what I've got now: All lights work great, as they are supposed to. Lights off does NOT trigger the warning light and the turn signals do NOT trigger the warning light, but headlights on do, and lights off/brakes on does as well. I have checked voltage in all of the bulbs and have replaced weak ones, yet the passenger side tail light assembly seems to have a slightly higher voltage than the driver's side assembly. I have verified positive ground on every light. Is a faulty bulb out sensor suspect? If I pull the thing out, how can I diagnose a potential problem with a meter? Are their electrical specs to look for? Thank you!
