The other night, as I was falling off to sleep, I got thinking about distributors for the B18-20 engines. It seems we frequently discuss other aspects of these motors like camshaft choices, head choices and carb choices, but I rarely see any discussion about distributors.

We have a couple of good choices in Rhys Kent and Joe Curto for carb rebuilding, yet I can't think of one source for distributor rebuilding.

I also can't think of any charts and/or recommendations for which distributor to use with which engine and with modified engines.

Are electronic conversions worthwhile to consider, such as Crane, Pertronix and MSD?

I'd certainly welcome thoughts from other members.
