I have a 1990 Volvo 740 GLE with the 16 valve DOHC engine. I sprayed engine bright on the engine to clean off oil from an oil leak, then washed it off with water and now it isn't acting right. It runs fine while it is cold, but when it warms up, it starts hunting for idle (revving up and down) and eventually goes dead. I have sprayed wd40 on every electrical connection under the hood including in the distributer cap, but it doesn't change the way it acts. any help would be appreciated.
