hello again. my '82 244 gl has the original radio and it doesn't work too well. (I know, my volvo has a lot of problems) Anyway, it wouldn't even turn on so I went through the wiring harness searching for the problem. an inline fuse was blown, so i replaced it. it blew again, so I put a 25 amp fuse and the radio turned on. unfortunately, my speakers blew out when the radio turned on. i went and bought new speakers and hooked them up, but they won't play anything loudly or clearly. I can't even hear it if I adjust it so that there's no static. any suggestions? the new speakers are 200 watt kenwoods and I have some 90 watt blaupunkts that I will hook up in the back later. If I can't fix it, I will buy a nice sony cd player.
