Further on the restart issue, Ezap guessed Fuel Pump. Hmmm, strong possibility.
I removed the old one. As I do not have a Fuel Pressure Gauge, I used the butcher's technique, at the wrecking yard. Does it develop suction on the inlet side and how much, does it develop pressure on the outlet side and how much, using my fingers or cheek, while I actuated the lever. The original pump, while looking healthy, developed weak suction. I came upon three or four used pumps, only two developed good suction and would hold it. I have cleaned the two best ones up, installed them, and the car seems well, so far. No restart problems. I haven't changed or done anything else. Just thought you would like to know.
