945 engine questions 900

I recently bought a '95 945 non-turbo with 253k miles. Never got the maintenance records that were promised. Today I changed the front seals, t-belt, air filter, water pump, hoses, etc. During the process I noticed a few things that need to be corrected; hence my questions:

1. When I removed the harmonic pully I noticed that there was no key in the key slot that matches the pully to the crank shaft and prevents the pully from turning on the shaft. Where can I get the key, and what size should I specify? Right now I've just tightened the crank bolt back like it was. If it slides out of alighment it shouldn't do anything except make it impossible to set timing, right?

2. The check engine light has been on since I bought the car indicating an EGR problem. I noticed that a vacuum line was disconnected at the EGR diaphram (hose rotted), so I reattached it with new hose. Is there a possibility that that will fix the problem? I assume I'll have to clear the code and see if it comes back.

3. The A/C compressor belt is not tight because the adjustment bolt on the A/C bracket is gone, along with the gizmo that slides in the bracket as the bolt is tightened. This is the bolt that takes a 10mm socket to turn to tighten the belt. Where can I find a replacement for this, and is it a common item or specific to the Volvo? I left the belt off the compressor for now.

4. All four doors have the pucker problem where the fabric is starting to pull loose around the door locks. I understand this is a common problem for this model, but I haven't found any reasonable solution. Any ideas about how to correct it?

Thanks for advice and comments.

Robert
